Game Summary Pitch

Weapon Alchemy is a semi-turn-based strategy game based on the ATB system. Player need to switch between different weapons according to the battle situation. By changing the order of weapon switches, player can combine weapons to create new ones and tackle various challenges

Gameplay overview

The player controls from a first-person perspective, shooting at enemies that approach continuously. By targeting different parts of the enemies, the player can inflict varying types of damage and effects. When the current weapons are inadequate, the weapon alchemy feature can be used to generate various types of weapons to face challenges. Throughout the battle, the player will level up, unlock new skills, and build multiple strategies to improve efficiency in defeating enemies. Ultimately, the goal is to achieve a higher score, as the player may not be able to withstand the increasing number of enemies.

Theme Interpretation (Alchemy and Shadows)

Alchemy Interpretation – The player needs to synthesize new weapons based on the order in which they use existing weapons to face challenges, making the order of weapon selection crucial.

Shadows Interpretation – Enemies at a distance are covered by shadows, and enemies in the foreground block those in the background, preventing the player from gathering sufficient information before enemies get close. Additionally, enemies might be hiding behind others.

I like it, very difficult I think I don't understand the best strategy after 5 tries. It's stressful when they move closer so I click fast instead of tactical! It feels like there's many more mechanics that I have not figured out yet. I got 25 kills. Well done!
